30 Final Reflection
In the beginning of the program I struggled with finding the
right opportunity that will set me apart from other entrepreneurs. I then stumbled
over the one issue I deal with on a regular and often though about fixing. A
special soap that people can travel with. Each exercise required me to dig deeper
and deeper into my little brain to pull out the best venture or problem solver for
myself and others.
I struggled with some assignments because I simply found
other things that were more appealing than doing homework. Once I began the
assignment, I realized that it was actually fun to do an elevator pitch or to
communicate with society in order to obtain answers for my blog. I was never one
to post blogs but I think its kind of cool.
My dull moments were chasing people to question them. Some didn’t
mind cooperating and others didn’t care. So often times, I bribed people to
help me. The most joyous experience was the first elevator pitch. I gained such
positive feedback and motivation to follow through with the venture. I didn’t think
that my idea would be a hit. But everyone that heard the concept, gave me the
ultimate support. I will forever remember the inspiration by my team mates. I am extremely proud that even though there were
times when I wanted to give up because my workload was becoming too much, I stayed
with it and now I am at the end of the tunnel.
I absolutely see myself as an entrepreneur. I have a little
more way to go to obtain the mindset of an entrepreneur but I am well on my
way. I enjoy networking and trying new things and that is what an entrepreneur does.
Leap out on new ventures as long as they see market for it.
To the future students, my advice is to stay positive and don’t
be afraid to try new things. If the idea seems like it can be a hit… talk to
your colleagues to gain feedback. Also, do not be afraid to receive constructive
criticism. It helps you become a better you for your entrepreneurial mindset.
My last recommendation is to always write your ideas down. It may come in handy
one day.
Be the one person that will leap into success!!!
Congratulations for finishing up the semester strong! I know there were times in this course when homework was the last thing I wanted to do too! But your idea for this class was definitely as successful one- I know your portable hand soap would definitely be a regular purchase for me! Way to push through and finish strong- good luck with whatever endeavor you tackle next!
ReplyDeleteSici, I'm so glad to hear that this class has helped you find your voice for your entrepreneurial endeavors! I still think it was so cool that you actually assembled a 'team' for your hand soap, even if you haven't made your venture official. Being persuasive is a really big part of an entrepreneur, and I think you've got that aspect down pat.
