22A- Elevator pitch no3
After reading the comments from my peers about my pitch, I realized that there was room for improvement. Only one of peers really gave me some advice on how to improve my pitch. The thing that stood out the most to me is that he recommended that I use my hands in the video since my product is regarding my hands. I was surprised by that because I thought I was supposed to be still and not use my hands when giving a speech. But I guess that is not the case always. Everything said was inciteful and greatly appreciated.
Based on the feedback given, I used my hands more and I mentioned
the name of my product more than once. I also added some gestures to compliment
my enthusiasm while explaining my product.
Hey there Sici! I just watched your third elevator pitch and I think I have to agree that using your hands to help emphasize what you're saying does wonders as opposed to being still. I can give you some advice I got in my business public speaking course; they said to use hands to let the audience know when you're making an important fact because for some reason it draws their eyes' attention and thus makes them listen to what you're saying better for that sentence. I like how confident and comfortable you sounded in this pitch!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea that another peer gave you- using your handles definitely can help you to emphasize your product! You seemed very confident and knowledgable about your product and the gestures you used helped you as well.
