8A- Solving the Problem

Residents living in Home Owners Association managed communities are challenged with parking solutions when hosting social gatherings due to parking restrictions strictly enforced by the Association.  My solution to this issue is to have a designated parking lot for overflow parking.  This will alleviate issues for everyone. No one will have to worry about blocking the next neighbor’s driveways. Commercial and service vehicles will not have issues as they maneuver through the neighborhood.

  1. Hi Sici.
I agree that when Homeowners Associations have too much power over residents, people let the modicum of authority they have go to their heads and border on tyrannical. That being said, I'm unclear about your solution to this. Is the plan to build a new parking lot everywhere there is a homeowners' association? Many communities would not like that plan, as parking lots can be an eyesore. This solution seems very niche, I believe you could make more money by building parking lots near convention centers or major sports centers.
